Sage Day provides a logical sequence for learning

In keeping with our efforts to enhance self-esteem, we strive to provide the safest possible environment for learning and self-expression. We have learned that a student who feels safe is more likely to take the risk of trying something new.

It is not uncommon for one of our students with no previous interest in art, music, or writing to pick up a paintbrush, guitar, or pen and discover that he/she has an untapped talent. Sage Day is fertile ground for such growth because we demand that our students treat each other with respect. Our students begin to support each other and often become some of the best teachers and therapists we have.
