Middle School
The SAGE Day middle school program serves approximately 45 students in grades 5-8 at the Mahwah campusĀ in Mahwah, NJ.
The curriculum follows New Jersey core curriculum standards with therapy fully integrated into the school day. Students take courses in math, science, humanities, social science, art, music and physical education. Test preparation and strategies is also taught to ready students for NJ ASK, the statewide assessment of skills and knowledge. Many student clubs are also available.
Classes are small with a student to staff ratio not to exceed 6:1. This lowers teen anxiety, enables students to feel safe and they begin to focus on learning. Our teachers are passionate about their subject matter and highly creative in their delivery of instruction. Students consistently trace their academic success to the strong relationships that they have established with their teachers.
